I was preparing to graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a major in Biomedical Engineering, minor in Technology & Management, starting my first businesses, and receiving multiple job offers - life was good and I was happy.

The first non-profit that I co-founded, I actually started when I was still an undergrad at Georgia Sax about 3 years ago and it’s called the Black Burdell INC. and our mission is to help cultivate young black entrepreneur. In my first business I was like, man I don’t really know what I am doing. I see P. Diddy, I see Dang John but I do not know the ins and outs of entrepreneurship. So we really started with this non – profit young entrepreneurs and figure it out and build community where we can learn from other people’s mistake.

Mornings used to be my worst enemy. In the past, I struggled with being distracted by social media, sleeping past my alarm, and morning convos with that one friend that just had to talk as soon as I got up. To me, your morning is the most important, precious time of the day. It is what you do first thing in the morning that sets the tone for the day. It's amazing how social media connects like minds.  A little over a year ago I set up a time to meet with Brandon to simply link up and learn more about what we each do. MY VOICE DESERVES TO BE HEARD BECAUSE....

Simply, because I do the absolute most. I say that jokingly, but there is a lot of truth in saying that. I'm blessed and fortunate to have been able to have experienced so much in my first twenty-six years of life. From traveling to over 17 countries, excelling in a corporate career, starting numerous entrepreneurial ventures, building networks, creatively curating content, and having the time of my life doing it. I have to mention, I don't list these "accomplishments" to boast, but solely because I am a proponent of lifting as I climb and helping others efficiently achieve their dreams and "BE great."

McKinney’s campaign, IS THIS MIC ON (ITMO), kicks off on August 4th and will celebrate and amplify the voices of local entrepreneurs. Since that first encounter, I’ve quickly learned that Brandon really does it all. I’m most familiar with him based on his work with The Scheme Team. The Scheme Team is “a lifestyle focused on helping young professionals turn their dreams into reality.” His team is known to put together great events that are not just to have fun, but are for the greater good.

Originally from Denver, but currently residing in Dallas, Brandon Miller is a millennial mogul in the making and has had an entrepreneurial spirit from a very early age. “When I was a kid I started a business called “Let B Do the Job.” I did everything from babysitting, pet sitting, yard work, or shoveling snowy driveways.” Fast forward a few years and the young mogul is the owner of multiple businesses that serves many purposes.
