What is your GREATest accomplishment?
I think my greatest accomplishment to date has been able to use my voice and creativity in my writing. As a journalist, I don't take it for granted being able to share my perspective on things that revolve around culture, tech and #BlackGirlMagic. I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to write for a number of incredible outlets, and I'm excited to continue becoming an even better storyteller.
What has been the GREATest moment of your life?
I firmly believe that the best is yet to come. But to date, I think that the greatest moments of my life have been those where I've seen things come full circle. Whether that's going back to one of my alma maters and sharing my experience with students, or overcoming any personal adversity, I think greatness stems from being able to appreciate how far you come, recognize where you are, and look forward to where you want to go - and sharing those moments unapologetically.
What does BEing GREAT mean to you?
Being great to me is all about authentically living in your truth and exercising gratitude on a daily basis. It's tapping into your joy, pursuing your purpose and connecting with people who will not only support that purpose, but push you to become the best that you can be. Finally, being great is not just absorbing your greatness for yourself, but it's sharing it and encouraging others to embrace their greatness as well.
